Birds of a Feather Flock Together

I have loved parrots ever since reading Swallows and Amazons as a child. I remember going around pet shops when I was 14 or so, trying to work out how I could afford one and whether to get a grey, to talk, or something a little  more colourful.

I never got one and was envious a few years ago, when I found out that a neighbour has one.
