Dive into Nature’s Canvas: Open studio 17-19 & 25-27 May 2024

I will be throwing open the doors of my studio for the first time as part of Open Studios West Berkshire and North Hampshire (OSWBNH) in May 2024 (17, 18, 19, 25, 26, 27 May). Nature’s Canvas is inspired by British wildlife alongside experimental mixed media prompted by my journeys through Asia, Australia, and Central America.

Open 17-19 and 24-26 May, the work on display offers a glimpse into my deep connection with nature, capturing the essence and character of each creature in loose and flowing colour. The collection spans the vibrant species of Central America, to the diverse wildlife of Australia and the more familiar animals of Berkshire.

Attendees can gain insights into the creative process, answering such questions as ‘What do artists do all day? What really goes on in a studio? How do finished pieces of art emerge to see the light of day?

I am excited to open my studio doors. It’s an invitation to see the beauty of our planet’s fauna with fresh eyes. The free event welcomes all ages to explore the artwork and get to know the person behind the brush.

Open 10-5, 17-19 and 24-26 May 2024, 2 Laburnum Cottages, Lodge Road, Whistley Green, Hurst, RG100ER
