I love to write, so in addition to painting and teaching, I have also written five books and write articles on all aspects of watercolour technique for magazines in the UK. My fifth book, Painting Portraits in Watercolour is published by The Crowood Press in September 2023.

Liz’s first book is an

Liz’s second book was published 
in November 2020. In it she takes you from the foundation techniques, through to more experimental approaches. It is illustrated throughout with her joyful celebrations of the animal kingdom. Painting Birds in Watercolour

lished in July 2022, this is my fourth book and it celebrates the love of things with wings. It is deeply practical helping the artist understand how to capture the character of the bird rather than getting caught up in detail. Painting Portraits in Watercolour
Published in September 2023, this joyful book gives you the confidence and skills to paint lively, contemporary faces and characters.
